“I never write reviews on anything but I feel I needed to share my experience with Universal Carpet. My wife and I shopped all the big box stores for new vinyl plank flooring and found just about the same products everywhere. Prices were all about the same and the products were not substantial at most. I shared my experience with a close friend and he referred me to Universal Carpet. I called and set up an appointment with Mike Larsen. He came by our house and looked over our situation and brought some sample pieces by. We talked for a while and he invited my wife and I to look at samples at his office. My wife is a picky shopper and with Mike's input and suggestions we decided on a COREtec product to install. The cost was a bit higher than big box, but not much more at all. Mike explained that he could sell us a big box item but he didn't think we would be happy. Mike was not pushy at all throughout the sale process and kept us updated on delivery date and time. We received the product and had it installed this week and we are overly pleased with the outcome!! My wife and I give two thumbs up to Universal Carpet and our rep. Mike Larsen.”

“We asked family and friends for referrals and because our hunt for carpeting for our newly finished basement. We had no idea on what we were looking for. Out of the places we went, we were most comfortable with the knowledge and honesty of Universal. They were a couple bucks more, however, when I showed the competitive bid, they matched it immediately. The install went well. The installers were overly professional and clean. They put down tarps on my hardwood floors as not to damage them while walking to and from the doorway. They worked hard all day getting it done (barely even took a break). Overall, we are very satisfied, and we will be using Universal again soon when we redo our second story carpeting.”

“After much online research, we chose Universal Carpet to install our entire upstairs, living room, and dining room carpet. We chose them over other companies based on their outstanding reviews and we were not disappointed. Larry was great in helping us choose the right carpet. Dawn was helpful in answering all our questions about the install and scheduling. And the installers were two very hardworking guys who we felt comfortable having in our home. They did a great job installing the carpet and they cleaned up afterwards. It was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!”
