“I had a great experience with Luis and team! We got our existing hardwood refinished in our hallway/foyer and new hard wood installed in the office. We installed raw hardwood so everything was stained at the same time. Luis made sure to check in with us throughout the process to make sure we were happy with the stain, finish, and moldings. They did a great job matching color between the new and old wood as well. Very happy with are new/old floors!”

“My experience with Mercer was excellent! Jim took the time to fully check over all of our hardwoods and actually recommended we NOT do an area because it wasn't in need of a refinish. Everything was explained and were put on the calendar. Price seemed very reasonable and inline with my expectations. Luis and his team that came to refinish the floors were great! They explained the process, confirmed the color selections, and even made a "test" area for us to compare a couple of closely matched colors we weren't sure about. He sent pictures each day showing each step of the process. We even had a small area that needed a touch up and Luis came that day to take care of it without any complaint. Pictures of before and after. Highly recommend Mercer.”

“We had LVP flooring installed throughout our house. We also purchased an area rug and had our stairs carpeted. The carpet and the stairs are lovely. I would give that part of the purchase 5 stars if I could separate them. The flooring was a bit of a challenge. The product looks amazing. The team doing the installation arrived early and stayed late to finish. However, we started noticing problems with the flooring in the kitchen within the first few months. At first, Mercer wasn't as responsive as we would have liked. We contacted our own contractor who spoke with the Mercer Rep and eventually things were repaired. Unfortunately, we had to recontact Mercer multiple times. Nail pops, floor shifting, planks kind of bubbling. Mercer has just finished completely reinstalling our kitchen floor. Seems things weren't done correctly by the original team. Hmm... I will say that with exception of the first problem, Mercer has been great about fixing and repairing. Communication has been challenging at times. Maybe they don't keep accurate records of phone calls? Would we use Mercer again? Absolutely! Yes, there were problems but I'm pleased to report that Mercer stands by their work. All of their employees are professional and they are prompt to apologize when they've made a mistake. It was a big job to put flooring on two floors. They fixed EVERY problem. And I'm sure that if there are additional issues in the future (I hope not!), that Mercer will stand by their work again.”

“This was the fourth time we have used Mercer Carpet for flooring installation at our home (carpet twice, hardwood and vinyl plank flooring) and we have been extremely pleased each time. From the selection of products, advice from the sales staff, timeliness of delivery of the product to the installation; all very professional and we would not consider using anyone else.”
