“We had somewhat of an unusual installation as we wanted to install LVT throughout areas with both tile and carpet. Having done a similar installation in another state, we learned some of the unknowns in that taking up tile and leveling to the other floor level could be done, but we weren’t forewarned of how high the undercut on the door frames would look! Needless to say it looked awful and we had to call in a millworker to “piecemeal” numerous door frames...again, this was in another state, not East Coast! I was adamant on not taking the existing tile up for this reason so when I heard it was possible to install the LVT over existing tile, we were ecstatic. We went to four companies, two would not do this type of installation, two would. After talking with the estimator at East Coast Flooring-we were convinced that he was very knowledgeable with this type of installation and it is the best decision. We ever made. The flooring has been installed now for a couple of weeks and we absolutely love the flooring and the installation. There is absolutely no noticeable transition areas, the baseboards and door frames are perfect. Thank you East Coast, you will be doing our bedrooms once we catch our breath again.”
