“Alan, Dion and Josh were exceptional. They arrived on time on this rainy morning. They were courteous and a promptly walked through the area. Alan carefully explained what they are planning to do. He then listened and answered my question’s especially use of t bar transitions. He said it would be up to me but wait until after their installation to decide. After their professional installation the t bar as Alan mentioned were not needed. They also accommodated the door transition to the laundry room. Alan recommended the Miele Vacuum cleaner. Alan, Dion and Josh made a great team. They were so diligent that they completed the installation and clean up without taking a break. I would highly recommended American Carpet, very professional from Joyce Brown, Sales, on site estimate and measurements to installation.”

“UPDATED: Now that kitchen reno is complete, adding 5 star review for Kitchen and Bath Dept. Quality products, a caring and highly experienced staff, and number one in customer satisfaction. These are a few of the reasons we went with American Floor & Home. It’s a one-stop shopping experience. On our first visit to the showroom, we met with design specialist, Richard Ecraela and flooring consultant, Joyce Brown (see A+ flooring review below). Richard is very personable and knowledgeable, and he helped us choose the right cabinets for our budget that are guaranteed to hold up well in Hawaii’s climate. His final computer rendering looks EXACTLY like the finished product! This software tool is fantastic because everything is to scale and he even added our actual wall color and appliances. Based on the first rendering, we did end up making some changes and Richard made sure we loved everything before we placed the order. I attached photos of the final rendering and our actual finished kitchen. Once the cabinets came in, things moved very quickly. AF&H assigned us a team of experts who worked together to coordinate installation. Cameron handled all the scheduling, while Wes and Allen oversaw the crew and made sure we stayed on schedule. Christian and Christopher did the heavy labor then Christian stayed on the job for all the finishing work. Everything went very smoothly and the crew was so hard-working and pleasant to be around. We really enjoyed having them all in our home. We especially appreciated Christian’s daily updates and incredible work ethic. He did an outstanding job! Could just go on and on, but the bottom line: We LOVE our new kitchen! Everything was installed correctly the first time. Anytime we had a question, we got an immediate response. Extremely fair pricing and you can do as little or as much as you’d like on your own to stay within your own budget. Did I mention this is an employee-owned company? Really makes a big difference when it comes to customer satisfaction. Not often you get a Cinderella story when it comes to a home remodel, but this definitely is our dream come true. Flooring Review: So incredibly happy we went with American Floor & Home for our flooring remodel. After a kitchen flood, the entire main level laminate needed to be replaced so we made our rounds in Honolulu looking for new flooring and ended up at American Floor & Home. You get a good feeling as soon as you walk in. Greeted at the door by flooring consultant, Joyce Brown, she listened attentively and steered us toward a beautiful, waterproof, luxury vinyl in Ohia from the Shaw, Pacifica Plus line. We also had AF&H do the installation and here’s where it really gets good! The installation team was OUTSTANDING! AF&H stands by its lifetime warranties by first testing the foundation for moisture. Then they completely prep the foundation and lay down an ultra-smooth sealant barrier before laying the actual flooring. After seeing the immense amount of work that goes into proper prepping, I can say this is NOT a DIY project if you want it done right. Our flooring installers, headed by team leader, Nolan K., were so respectful, punctual, and hard-working. Nick K., Dion and Delfin T., and Chris M., all gave 100 % and ended up finishing a few days ahead of schedule. The flooring is flawless and ZERO punch list items! Nolan kept us in the loop every step of the way and didn’t let one minute go to waste. My recommendation: Relax! And leave your flooring project in the capable hands of American Floor & Home. You’ll know it was done right so you can enjoy it for years to come.”
