“We were very excited to use West Valley Flooring when we were renovating the main level of our house and upper level. At the beginning of the process, we had a great experience with our sales associate, Zach, and initial consultation. We were given a preliminary estimate of the cost and were happy when the quotation came in less than the estimate. However, we ran into some significant issues during the installation process: (1) the square footage on the initial consultation was incorrect and not enough material was ordered for two bathrooms and a laundry room. (2) the initial installation team was very unprofessional and our other contractors from two different companies complained. This was dealt with by Zach and the team was replaced promptly with Lee, who was excellent. (3) there was a large scratch on our floor from the installation team moving the fridge and additional material had to be ordered to repair the scratch at the company’s expense. (4) due to having to order more material, the installation job was left unfinished and dragged on for several months. (5) scheduling communication was very disorganized. There were several times that we were told installers would be coming on a certain day, we would stay home from work and no one would show up or call and cancel. (6) likely due to scheduling issues, some of the work seemed rushed. For example the baseboards in our bathroom were never (and still are not) reattached and the flooring used on one of our stairs was ‘patched together’ with a small piece that was available instead of making that step look consistent with all of the others. For a larger job like this (with a pretty big price tag), I was hoping for more attention to detail. At the end of the day, our flooring is complete and we are happy with the end product. The process of getting it completed was painful, partly due to workmanship and labour issues, and partly due to material availability. But, based on the other reviews, it seems that our experience may be the exception and we were just unlucky.”

“Shout out to Ali and the crew at Westvalley. My wife and I were looking for new carpet and didn't know a thing. After talking to Ali, we knew and felt we could trust them personally to take care of us. After looking at a few samples Ali found us something that was going to work in our price point. The installers were top notch and while it took a little longer than expected they managed to work through the day and part of the night to get it done on the day they said they do it. All around great work by Ali and team. Thanks!”

“We just had West Valley replace all of the carpets in our house, about 1200 square feet of carpeted area. The lead installer - Ejder walked me through the various transitions to hardwood as well as our stairs which have a sweeping 90 degree turn in them. Ejder had a few hacks ensuring the finished product both looked good and would stay that way for years to come, we are very happy with the job! Very happy and a big upgrade for our house. Oh - and he got it all done in half the quoted time!”
