“I am so grateful that I chose Luna Oakbrook. I encountered many unforeseen issues when we pulled up the carpet in my new condo, And I had to meet board requirements for soundproofing. Owner, Chuck Whelpley and Joe went beyond selling me product. They went above and beyond helping me to obtain vendor specs for soundproofing issues. They went above and beyond just selling be product and they ALWAYS picked up or returned my phone call, It was also in my favor that there installer Pedru (Peter) is not a subcontractor. He works for Luna Flooring Gallery, My floors needed to be leveled-seriously. Thereafter the floor was installed with perfection and professionalism, Delivery was also prompt and on-time. Great overall Customer Service Chuck, Joe, Peter and delivery service. There is so much more to this story but in the end I have beautiful floors that are the right product (vinyl vs. engineered hardwood) on a properly prepared floor with approved soundproofing. “It was a pleasure working with Karen Guccione at the Luna Flooring Gallery of Deerfield. She was very helpful in assisting us in finding the perfect carpet for a runner that we were installing on the wood stairs in our home. Since we were readying the house for my upcoming knee surgery, we needed a safe, well-padded, attractive carpet that would also give our stairs an updated look. Given the pattern of the carpet, we were concerned about how it would be cut to accommodate the angles at the bottom of the stairs. Well, we are absolutely thrilled with the completed project. Karen had arranged for Mike to make the pattern and then install the carpet the following day, making sure we had the installation well in advance of my surgery. Mike was extremely precise and took his time to ensure that the pattern was well-matched on every stair. A big thank-you to Karen, Mike and Luna Flooring.”
