“Refreshing our surroundings was a way of refreshing ourselves and we did not want this to involve a large re-design plan. We had made flooring in particular the focus of our ongoing upgrade, ever mindful to maintain an integrated look throughout our home. We again chose to work with the a business familiar to us but had never worked specifically with Leanne. I was feeling stumped and frustrated as usual. Leanne directed the flooring selection with solid product knowledge to a final decision that achieved the results we had hoped for. What became a stop and go project over many many months because of an evasive roof leak has endeared Leanne to us because of her infinite patience, understanding and ongoing follow-up. She added further to our appreciation by identifying and attending to some poor detail design in the adjoining kitchen flooring. We had not said anything outright about the kitchen flooring but there was a pervasive feeling that the work had not been correctly done. Her forward facing approach involved a product search but because of the length of time delay, the product was misplaced in the show room. Leanne again located the product to polish off the end result. We will again seek out Leanne's professional assessment as we consider ongoing strategic changes.”

“When I had decided to totally renovate my entire 1 bedroom and den condo I had already collected ideas from home and fashion magazines as well visited showrooms to get some ideas on what was new and what I liked. Although I had some ideas I wasn't sure how everything would fit together and where to start. My contractor introduced me to Lianne Gilder at Surdel Carpets to look at flooring and bathroom tiles as a beginning to the project. After talking with me and showing me some samples Lianne said I know exactly the look you are going for. We spent a few hours together looking at her recommendations and roughly drawing up plans. Lianne designed the flooring and tiles for the 2 bathrooms, the hallway entrance, the kitchen and all the window coverings. She visited my condo and reviewed with me the final design ensuring the measurements were accurate and how the design would look in the space I had described to her. Her design incorporated my likes and took my vision to another level. Lianne used her creative skills and aptitude for detail to create my living space way beyond my wildest dreams. “My name is George Garrett, homeowner, 6089 Boundary Drive West, Surrey, BC V3X 2A7. A few years ago I dealt with Lianne Gilder at Surdel Carpets in Surrey re the purchase of new carpets. I remembered her personal service and the excellent work of her installers. When I had a flood in my home in May, 2014 it was necessary to replace that carpeting and hardwood floors. My restoration company recommended another firm but I insisted on dealing with Lianne and Surdel Carpets. The insurance company agreed to pay me out and I hired Surdel. Lianne suggested a natural maple floor, saying that showing the grain would give the floor a warmer look. She was right. The new floor is beautiful and the carpet is an upgrade from what I had before. Lianne worked well with the restoration company and quoted a price that was less than the quote from the company originally selected by the insurance company.
