The price was very reasonable and the floor is wonderful. Perfect. The installation group was extremely careful and professional. They finished in 3 days- earlier than anticipated and took care of a leaky faucet in the laundry while they were at it. The owners of AR flooring stopped in prior to the beginning of the project and shortly after its completion to make certain that everything was in order. They were very attentive. We will never go anywhere else.”

“Where do I start with saying why I give American River Flooring 5 stars? First of all, they are a full service flooring store. They not only sell product, they also install and warranty their work. Second of all, they put their customers' happiness at the top of their list of priorities. I heard over and over again throughout the process "my goal is for you to be happy." Third, they act with integrity and honesty in everything they do. Even if a manufacturer or distributor won't stand by their product, Don & Colleen will stand by the work they do and the service they provide. Finally, did I mention their goal is to make sure their customers are happy? From the salesman, to the installer, to the owners it was clear that this is a company that cares about its reputation and knows that a good reputation comes from satisfied customers. So, here's my story: I first contacted American River Flooring in 2015 when I wanted to install hardwood floors with radiant floor heat into my 25 year old home. Not the brightest idea I've had but I hate cold feet. Don helped me to see that the idea just wasn't feasible with a slab foundation. He was respectful, courteous, and thorough. Even though it was a dumb idea, he put time into figuring out how it could possibly work and never made me feel like it was a dumb idea. I put ideas of new flooring on hold while completing other household projects. Because of the respectful way I was treated, I returned to American River Flooring when I was finally ready to put in 1500 sq ft of hardwood. Martin worked and worked and worked with me over the next several months while I agonized over the style and color of flooring I wanted. I finally decided on a glossy walnut with lots of character. When the wood was delivered to my home to acclimate, Martin took a few boards to create a custom stain for my stair handrail. It was Martin who noticed and brought to my attention a manufacturer's defect in the finish. They could have just installed the floor and hoped I wouldn't notice, but that's not how they do business. Even thought it postponed the project by a couple months while we waited for a new batch of flooring to be manufactured, Martin stayed in touch with me every step of the way. The new floor finally came and Josh arrived to do the install. Josh listened to my flooring hopes and assured me he'd do everything he could to make my happy with the process. He patiently put up with 4-8 kids in my house on school day afternoons and never once allowed the busy-ness to irritate or distract him. He is a professional through and through. There is more I could say but this review has gotten long enough. If you've read this far, please be assured that you could not choose a better flooring or painting company to work with.”

“American River Flooring did a great job on our floor. Martin was helpful and stayed engaged throughout the process. We had a serious issue with the Mohawk product and Martin and American River fully supported us and replaced the material quickly and efficiently even before the manufacturer was willing to authorize a claim. Thank you for a job well done through difficult circumstances American River Flooring. To Mohawk: the product is great, the process in getting the defective material replaced sucked. I would not choose Mohawk again.”
