“Update: As of Dec 12th, 2021 I received a call from the Owner of Fred's Flooring (to my surprise). I told him what happened and how I felt about everything that happened. Needless, to say he fix everything . I really appreciate him hearing me out and making everything better since it Christmas and money is tight. Based on my positive experience with the Owner, Doug Jones , I will reconsider referring my family and friends in the future. I met with the Michael and his help today , Dec 10th, 2021 at 12 to talk about getting an estimate on carpet and I did let them know I was on a budget. I was waiting on another estimate from an installer which I told them that. I got my estimate which I thought was a little high and a little more than I wanted to pay. And being that Christmas is coming up I wanted it done before than. I reluctantly signed the contract. I was supposed to get an email copy of the contract, BUT I didn't. My appointment was at 12 and contacted them at 1:31 that I changed my mind and was going to get it done for less. I was told in order to cancel it's a 25% restocking fee that the carpet distributor charges , which was over 541.25 to be exact. I really can't believe a order was placed that quick and there was not a cancellation time in the contract. Rob was nice and so was Michael. But, I feel like I was done wrong and not fair or honesty displayed. I would not refer them to anyone in the future.”

“I had the best customer care experience with DeeAnn at Fred’s flooring! I called just before Thanksgiving week for their availability, pricing and delivery timing information on a carpet style I had selected elsewhere. As the upcoming was the holiday week, I didn’t expect to hear back until the beginning of the following week with the information. Surprisingly, I received a text from DeeAnn the Monday before Thanksgiving (the store was closed by the way) providing the info and explaining that she texted me as she had committed to following up!! What?? And the customer service just got even better from there. She worked with the supplier, made all of the arrangements, emailed me the contract, ordered the carpet, worked with me for payment and the carpet is ALREADY IN, binded (or is that bound? ) and ready to be picked up as of Friday, Dec 3! I can’t think of a time I’ve had a better shopping experience. Fred’s Flooring is fortunate to have such a proactive, committee person on their team, and although I didn’t even have to drive to the storefront to make my purchase, my guess is the whole operation over there is run like a well-oiled machine.”

They were extremely easy to contact (and stayed in contact through the entire process!), they were able to get to my home quickly (within a week), my home was left clean, and the work was beautiful! It felt like the cherry on top that it was so affordable. I will definitely recommend Fred's to anyone needing flooring in the future.”
