“Let me start by giving my last experience with a flooring company. I purchased carpet with Great Western Flooring (through Costco.) After the carpet was installed, my cats soiled an area that I then asked Great Western to help with. I was hoping that they would do a courtesy visit, as it had only been a couple of months, but they charged me $400. I was OK with paying them for the work and materials, but they did not repair the carpet correctly and they refused to refund or re-repair the spot. They even did not leave the leftover product for me to use in the future. Very disappointing. Now for DeSitter. The carpet I had selected for my stairs was not appropriate for high-traffic areas. Because an ex-employee recommended it to us, they took ownership and handled the entire warranty process on my behalf. They communicated the progress and ensured that the carpet company would accept the replacement. Kudos to Tracy, Alicia, and Tim. These guys should be given a bonus for the effort they put into making sure I was happy. You can be assured that they have earned a lifetime customer and I will recommend them to anyone who asks. I would give them 10 stars if I could. You simply cannot find any flooring companies this customer focused anymore.”

“I purchased a custom made, bound area rug to fit my unusually long living room space. The sales associate who assisted me was very helpful and knowledgeable. The rug I ended up going with cost less than the quoted price and included a rug pad and delivery. The rug came on time and the delivery crew were pros. The carpet is beautiful. I was so happy with the process from start to finish.”

“THE GOOD NEWS :The carpet for our family room and stairs is in and beautiful. NOT SO GOOD: It took 5 visits including re-installation of the transition strips ( wrong parts ), uncovering a heat register and fixing of rug angles on stair/landing connection. ADVICE: Robert is the DeSitter master fixer of all problems - a genius. Closely plan/watch all transition installations or odd cuts/angles on rug installation.”
