“My parents have happily used Champion Floors for years in their house, so it was an easy decision for me to call them when we were adding wood floors to our front rooms and planning to refinish our existing wood to match the new. My husband and I decided to install the new oak floors ourselves (we’ve done it before) and have Champion sand and stain/finish them. Everyone at the office is super friendly and easy to get ahold of, and when Ralph was measuring our rooms for our quote, he answered every question I had and gave us some extra tips for the installation. The guys who sanded and finished the floors were great to work with. They called to let me know they were on their way, showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and made sure we could still walk to our stairs for bedtime each day of the project. They also sanded and stained a test-patch on the existing floors to help us choose a stain color that would help the old and new floors match when we get around to refinishing them next spring. They were very knowledgeable and honest about how well they could match our new white oak and the old red oak, and helped us find a color we really love. The dust-less sanding was great and did not leave any mess in the house, and we were able to put furniture back 24-48 hours later. We will definitely be using them for all of our future hardwood floor projects.”
