This is our second time using CIHF for a major flooring purchase/install. We used them in our previous house and were thrilled with the outcome. We recently moved into a new house and weren't a fan of the floors. We decided to contact CIHF first because of our positive experience the first time around. We have had the new carpet and engineered flooring for 1 week now and we are very happy with it. Everyone we came in contact with was helpful and patient. When we discovered a possible show stopper issue during the tear out of old floors CIHF had all hands on deck to give us options and we ended up arriving at a suitable solution that didn't increase the overall price. The installation quality was great. The installers were patient, thorough, answered all our questions, and were respectful of our home. ~1000sqft of engineered hardwood floor, underlayment, installation, transitions ~1500sqft of high quality carpet with premium pad ~120sqft of Travertine look click flooring, underlayment, installation, transitions

I did not go with them. They provided a quote. They did a pretty good job. They were a little bit more expensive. They seemed professional and seemed to know what they were talking about. I got a lower estimate so I did not go with them. They provided a quote for downstairs carpeting.

I am a happy customer! I had asked Chris to come out to my home a year ago for an estimate. Time passed and we were finally ready to change our carpet. I contacted Chris by email and I was in the office the next day looking at samples. He understood our wants and needs and provided several options at different price points, and he explained the pros and cons of all. We made a decision and 6 days later, our new carpet was installed! We are very pleased with the final product. Installation was great- the two installers were professional and kept a clean work space the entire time and cleaned up on their way out. We will definitely use Carolina In Home Flooring again!

Ultimately, we are happy with the finished product. The beginning of the project did not go smoothly. We were expecting the workers between 8 and 10am and were told that this was a 2 hour job. The night before (7PM) the day of the job we received a call from the project manager asking if we could reschedule. Since we had taken time off of work to get this completed, the answer was no. So, according to schedule, a worker arrived at 9am the next day. Unfortunately, this 2 hour job turned into a 6 hour job. We contacted the project manager when we were at the 4 hour mark (double the time we had allotted for this job) because the worker informed us that it would be ANOTHER 2 hours. We had planned to take care of a few things; taking advantage of the day off during business hours. We missed our 1PM appointment due to the job taking triple the amount of time that we were told. The worker worked alone the entire day. At the end of the job, the project manager came and we discussed the huge discrepancy in the estimate time and actual time. Additionally, there were gaps between the new floor and each doorway, the toilet, etc. We were informed that the new flooring was thinner than the old and that the salesman should have informed us that this was a possibility. Well, he did not. Also, there was damage to the baseboards; a groove that extended the entire perimeter. We are not clear how this happened, but my husband states that he saw the guy pull up the floor and it looked like the tool that he used would hit in the same place as this gash. So, at this point, we were not happy with the results. We spoke with the project manager. THIS IS WHERE THEY REALLY SHOWED HOW GREAT A COMPANY THEY ARE. As we all know, things don't always go well, but the response to issues is important to consider. He completely agreed that the was clear damage to our baseboards. He was sorry that our expectations were not managed properly regarding the outcome of the gaps at every door way and at the toilet. He gave us advice about contacting a plumber to fix the toilet. He arranged for other workers to come and fill in the gaps with putty. Also, they repaired the baseboards and repainted them. He was also very apologetic regarding the excessive amount of time that this job took. He explained that they had a bigger job that was running over and that's why the worker was alone on this job. (Reason for the last minute call the night before to try to reschedule) He stated this is not customary behavior and just unforeseen circumstances. We are in the process of getting a plumber to fix the pipe so that the toilet sits flush on the new floor. Besides that, everything is GREAT. We are very satisfied with the finished product. Of course, it would be optimal for all things to go as expected. However, you should know that if things don't go perfectly, this is a company that takes full accountability and will fix things to ensure that you are happy with the quality of the work. I would hire them again. New flooring for first floor of townhome. It consisted of a long hall way and a bathroom.

The work was great. We did have an issue where the scheduler called and told me the materials would not make it in time for our scheduled installation. After I called to complain, the material showed up on time. The work they preformed was excellent, but when they removed the toilets and put them in the showers they did not clean up that area when they were done. They did have to come back because the original order did not have the carpet strips. We had them do luxury vinyl tile in both upstairs bathrooms, plus have it come out to the master closet in the one bedroom.

Excellent! Customer service is as important to me as the product or service provided. Every person I encountered was extremely receptive and informative. Every concern I raised (and I raise many with every provider) was met enthusiastically and without a hint of resistance. Mike Nelson, the owner, was very helpful and patient with product selection. He is very responsive! Martha and Drew were also very helpful with their product insights for my situation. The project manager, Eric, was very accessible and kept me informed about the installation. Alex and Manuel, the installers, did an excellent job. The carpeting looks beautiful. The seems are impossible to see. Now that solid trust has been established, I would not hesitate to buy any type of flooring from these folks. Carpet installed in two bedrooms, an office and a hallway

Our floor looks beautiful. The project was finished on time. They followed up with addressing some minor issues immediately. I would definitely use them again for my flooring needs.
