“I heard about Urban Flooring through A relative. We had just moved to Traverse City and were remodeling our house. My wife had a particular luxury vinyl floor manufactured by Pergo that she liked and we had a local installation crew. Marc at Urban flooring quoted us a great price and agreed to deliver to us. The flooring we wanted was back ordered from the manufacturer but it was scheduled for production within 45 days so we went with it. The flooring was manufactured on time and Marc delivered it promptly. We were quite excited because we were actually ahead of schedule. Unfortunately when the installers went to lay the flooring they encountered multiple bad planks which did not snap together appropriately. We called Urban flooring and they have immediately leapt into action. They contacted their Mohawk representative (Mohawk owns Pergo) who tried to blame the problem on our installers. Urban Flooring filed a warranty claim anyway and ordered a new shipment of the same floor. This shipment to be inspected by a supervisor. Meanwhile we mailed them some of the bad planks to continue with the claim. Word came back fro Pergo that the new shipment was also defective (obviously not our installers fault). Could we pick a different pattern. Urban flooring helped with this as well as reorder. When Pergo tried to charge more for our new order Urban Flooring convinced the manufacturer to drop the extra charge. When the new flooring arrived at the metro Detroit Warehouse Marc loaded it on his trailer and drove it up to Traverse City himself. Throughout the whole experience Marc was apologetic for the difficulties we had encountered even though none were his fault. They really went to bat with the manufacturer and expedited our claim. They also made sure that we were reimbursed for the extra charge from our installer to take up the defective flooring. It’s nice to find a company that stands behind the products that they sell. Urban Flooring is that kind of company. They deserve six stars out of five.”

“My experience was great the installers were very nice, professional, and knowledgeable- all around good guys. I couldn’t be happier with the way it came out. The only thing I wish they helped more or talked through the baseboards. This being the 1st time I’ve done flops I needed new baseboards as well but didn’t know there would be gaps and I’d need shoe molding as well,”
