“The guys were friendly, courteous, hard working and did a great job. The only negative is that they used 2 inch nails to pit the baseboard back on and my panty had a pocket door. The nails were so long they put scratches on the door when opening and closing it.”

“Barry came through on short notice to quote our refinish/patch job. His company has an impressive portfolio of work, and this was one job I was not willing to take on during my remodel. The red oak floors in my 100 year old house were patched, and stained Country White, and a water-based poly with additional white tint was applied. We went from dated, red/yellow flooring to a whitewashed look to match our contemporary kitchen/living room remodel. Short-term review: I haven’t been on the floors yet, but the new look is exactly what we desired. -The patches blend nicely. -The stain hid most of the red/pink hues. -Gaps and holes are filled using Duraseal’s trowel-able wood filler. -The crew was knowledgeable and friendly. “We hired Schmidt Custom Floors to install 1600 sf of 5-inch hickory throughout our house. To do this they removed existing engineered wood in the kitchen area and carpet everywhere else. All floor trim was carefully removed and reinstalled. The end result is truly exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Kevin, Dereck and Dalton completed this project on schedule in six days. They put in long days and cleaned up very thoroughly. Their attention to detail is amazing. This was the third time we have had hardwood installed in an existing home. Our experience with Schmidt’s was far and above the best. We could not be happier and we give Schmidt Custom Floors the highest possible recommendation.”

“We had our entire main level finished with wood floors. David was fantastic and very patient as we looked at every sample of wood they had to offer! And while there was an issue with the manufacturer (not the fault of Schmidt's whatsoever) Barry worked hard to make it right and make sure we were happy with our floors. This is definitely a company I would recommend because they are professional, honest and thorough. Believe the reviews! Schmidt's is great!”

“Overall the floors came out almost just right. The problem was that they should have done it right from the start, not doing so caused me extra time and worry. They installed the wrong color plugs in the screw holes, some were almost black and this was on a red oak floor. They had to come back twice to get it fixed and the border color that got resanded is good enough, but not quite as uniform had it been done all at once the first time. Nobody will notice the difference but me, then again I'm the one who matters. 😂”
