“As a designer for the last 30+ years I've made used many vendors and suppliers in the Portland metro vicinity. But the friendship that I have forged with the sales staff at Marion's (big shout out to Angie) always makes it a pleasure to do business with them. I never have a problem finding the right product for the right project. Wonderful selection and the price points have been very generous. It leaves both me and my clients very satisfied. They even supply you with the numbers for prompt and confident subcontractors who do the install. I always ask for either Blake or Nick. If I'm not completely satisfied, I simply call them and they come back and correct any discrepancies that I find.”

“We visited the store before the holidays. Steve, our sales associate did a great job explaining the differences in carpets, quality and installation options. We picked a wonderful wool berber for our basement and a blend for an upper floor. I never knew how a pad could make the difference. In addition to his expert advice, Steve recommended James Chinchen for the installation. James and his crew were amazing. James perfectly measured the space, worked with our schedule for the install and completed the project on time. He really made it easy. The Marion and Chinchen team made the process of picking carpet and install easy. Thanks again for the advice, great service and quality work!!”

“Our experience is very similar to that by another reviewer (Anthony Quaranta, 11/20). I think that says a lot about David (Marion's) and Jeremy (Cravatta Flooring) as well the veracity of these reviews. We purchased 3 carpets from Marion's and each time David helped us. As one would expect, he was most knowledgeable and his attention to customer satisfaction was excellent. We had many questions and because of Covid relied on texts, and phone calls to get answers. David was always there for us, and provided answers and updates within the hour of our asking. This went on for 6 months or so as we remodeled our bedrooms one after the other. On pricing, Marion's were competitive albeit requesting full payment with order; but they do not employ their own carpet fitters meaning that you either take their recommendation or go elsewhere. Fortunately we accepted their recommendation, Jeremy Cravatta. One pays Jeremy his fee upon installation. Jeremy is the one who comes out to take measurements and then contacts David on the dimensions of the carpet needed. Over the years we have had many carpets fitted but have never had any fitted so well as what Jeremy did for us. One carpet was very tricky and difficult to install, but he honored his estimate although it took him two or more hours to install. Echoing what Anthony Quaranta said, Jeremy is our go-to installer now. Marion's Carpets too.”

“Good selection. Received as much help as needed and Randy (GM) was very experienced and helpful. Priced comparably to competitor's and had a good amount of displayed product both to look at and ond the floor. No interaction with the carpet side. Hard flooring only was the requirement of the visit”

“I just moved to the area and closed on a place that needed the carpets redone before I moved in. I had a lot uncertainty around the actual installation date as I was trying to coordinate a tight deadline with the closing, installation work, and movers arriving. Through it all, from beginning to end, Toby was great to work with. He was knowledgeable about the products, patient and very responsive with all of my questions to find the best carpet option for me, really flexible with all my moving parts and changing dates, and referred me to the best installer as well. Really great customer service delivered in a friendly, helpful, and responsive manner that was greatly appreciated.”

He spent extra time to removed and replace thresholds to make it look and feel right. I have had a couple of installers work for me installing carpet in my rental properties. Jeremy is my go to installer now.”
