“We had some disgustingly dirty and old carpet in my house that had been destroyed by previous tenants. I had Ray come and take a look to replace it. He made some excellent recommendations like putting commercial grade carpet on the stairs that lead to the street. It looks fantastic and its going to last. The price was excellent considering the value we got. The installer was fast, clean and professional. I would recommend these guys any day of the week.”

“Let me begin by saying it is a real shame that a small handful of bad reviews from several years ago is bringing the average score down. I don't know if it was under a different management back then, but I cannot imagine how the people I dealt with recently would ever do what is being said in those older reviews. I built a house and a laneway house. As with most people, I started off very price-conscious, and narrowed my options down to a handful that were most reasonable in price. Lonsdale Flooring definitely fits in the reasonable price range. Then I looked at the options, the service, and went with someone who was very pleasant to deal with, and had a good selection to choose from. That was Lonsdale Flooring. Sales pitches are easy to make, but it is far harder to deliver on all of the promises of goodwill, customer service, and quality work. Lonsdale Flooring delivered on all of those points as well. What makes Lonsdale Flooring stand out for me, against all of the other trades I dealt with in building my home, is the owner's level of integrity. We unfortunately had a bit of a blunder made by the first sub-trades who installed the carpet on our stairs. It was bad enough that it really bothered me, but it wasn't so bad enough that people who came to our house would stare in horror. It was in a state where, I could imagine most flooring companies would tell me that it's "good enough" and ignore my complaints. It was also a costly enough fix that I felt really bad pointing out the problem, and hoping that it wasn't as expensive a fix as I was fearing it was. When I raised the issue, the owner came to my house promptly, looked at the issue, and immediately acknowledge that it was not to the standard he would like, and agreed to find out what the best solution would be. Then he promptly procured a very experienced installer to come over and give us his recommendations, which ended up being the expensive method I had feared. The owner immediately agreed to do that for me, and reassured me that I didn't have to feel bad about it, and then arranged to have the problem fixed as soon as possible. I don't know how else to convey how much of a pleasure it was to work with Lonsdale Flooring, and how much I recommend their services to anyone who needs new flooring. The way I see it, construction work is done by humans and we're not always perfect. What is important is that when a mistake is made, you deal with it with responsibly, and with integrity. I can say without a doubt that if you go with Lonsdale Flooring, you will get honest people to give you an honest price, provide you with service and quality work, and when a hiccup does happen as they sometimes do, the owner will handle it for you with the utmost integrity. I would give more stars if I could :)”

“Absolutely wonderful experience getting our Karndean LVT from Lonsdale Flooring. The showroom is the best I found when needing to see the product first hand. When my contractor asked me last minute to get the product for our new pizza shop Ray and the guys there went above and beyond in personally receiving it from the warehouse and had it in North Van the next day. They also managed to offer me the product at a price better than any previous suppliers I wasted my time with. Thank you all again. Cant wait to bring you some pizza soon.”

“We bought a flooring product from Londsdale Flooring and paid for installation. Unfortunately the install was terrible and had to be redone. The owner Ray, sent up two guys (to Whistler) for TWO days and remedied the problem. He replaced all the flooring, the sub floor that was damaged as it came up and supplied all the labor to warranty the defect. Unbeatable customer service, no verbal hassle about fixing it and we finished up with a stellar product and a great looking floor. Will definitely use again.”
