“Vinny knows flooring ! Very strong review for Galaxy Floors. Vinny very knowledgeable and helpful for us. Provided guidance in selecting new vinyl tile. Replaced good size area in kitchen, hallway, family room and laundry area. All appointments for measuring and installation were met. Installation of CORTek somewhat complex but installers were up to the task. Variety of thresholds and different surfaces to match and all were done correctly. Clean and neat after each day of a two day job. Everyone at Galaxy friendly and polite. Would recommend highly.”

“I'm a bit obsessive, and went to a lot of tile and flooring places in Milford (and surrounding areas!)... Vinny and the rest at Galaxy tile were the only ones who not only took the time to really discuss our project (even though it was a very small job!), but also had lots of options, offered great advice, and gave no pressure for up-selling or extras. Even after the sale, they went above and beyond to help us rush order a few more tiles (a last minute change of design caused me to run short!! My bad). Overall a great experience... and the bathroom looks great! We will definitely give a call when it's time to replace the rugs!!”

“My husband and I began our carpet search well over a year ago. We went from one boutique to the next in search of a high enough quality carpet at a “reasonable” price, considering the fact that we were first-time home owners and were on a budget, but wanted to ensure high quality work. Long story short, after visiting most local shops, we went back to Galaxy because of their honesty, precision and genuineness. While we were indecisive for months (mostly due to schedules), we stayed in touch with Edina (in a non-annoying way that many business tend to be), and simply made the purchase that fit our budget and the quality we were looking for when the time was right for us. No pressure, no exasperating conversations about “throw in features”, though enough details to make a thoughtful purchase. The ordering, scheduling, and day-of-work coordinating went smoothly, and the carpet looks and feels great. As picky as we are, we’re glad we went with our gut feeling and ended up choosing Galaxy for this type of project.”

“I strongly recommend Galaxy. Let me explain. We own Scratch Baking, which recently moved from 58 River Street to 84 Broad Street on the Milford Green in Milford, CT. For the new bakery space, we were provided architectural specs for a quarry tile floor that would have cost $20-25k (including floor prep), which exceeded our remodeling budget. Immediately, I called three different tile stores and researched options at Home Depot and Lowes. Vinny and the folks at Galaxy researched different alternative commercial waterproof plank options and provided specs that I was able to present to the Milford Building Department for approval. The tile (PROGEN) was approved for commercial use by the City. I did a considerable amount of research and Galaxy provided a fair price for high-grade 2,000 sf of tile (which had to be ordered from Europe) and fair price for the installation over a very uneven plywood floor with discontinuous sections of old tile. Vinny worked with a narrow window we provided to obtain the tile and install it. We have already gotten numerous comments about how great the floor looks and feels. I encourage anyone reading this post to check out the bakery floor at the new Scratch Baking location - 84 Broad Street on the Milford Green (formerly Liquid Lunch, between the Bike Shop and Colony Grill). PS. A month after Galaxy was paid in full for the floor installation and in the chaos of remodeling, I forgot to call them to install the final threshold/trim piece. I called Vinny and his crew addressed the issue within 2 business days and completed the task on the day of the opening. In short - we strongly recommend Galaxy.”

“I am writing this review because of the excellent service I received from Galaxy everyone is very knowledgeable about the different options when it comes to hardwood having a different layout possessed some problems but Vinny was always available by phone I would recommend Galaxy to anyone who needs flooring”
