Total gut and restoration of our master bath and kitchen. This includes removal of a 1986 style semi dropped ceiling in the kitchen. All new custom cabinets, high end SS appliances, including dishwasher, commercial gas range, 30 cu. ft. retrifg., and over the range vented microwave. Reconfiguring of existing Island counter, all new granite countertops, electrical with new pot lites, and necessary plumbing. The master bath was also a complete tear out. Re-installing a semi custom large double vanity with a dress/make-up station and a beautiful chocolate brown and white granite vanity top with 14"x22" matchingwhite porcelain sinks. The toilet was moved from a poor location in the large room to a much better spot which required cutting 10' of 10" concrete flooring to accommodate new plumbing. This large area that now contains the toilet in a private location will be finished with antique ivory cabinets that include 3 beautiful 24"x36" large framed mirrors and 2 chrome sconce lights between the mirrors. The adjoining shower area, is 7'x8' and is finished with coffee colored 24"x24" porcelain tiles from floor to ceiling. The coffee color tiles are accented with pencil mosaic tiles mounted in a vertical direction and 6" wide. It is then trimmed on the outside edges with emperador brown cove style trim. The shower floor area is covered with 4"x4" tumbled empeadror granite tiles. This room is separated from the main dressing area with a half wall topped with the emperador granite and a glass panel that goes to the ceiling. The plumbing fixtures are all polished chrome and include a rain fall shower head with a hand held shower attachment with hand rail and two body wash heads. There is also a 380 squ. in. granite bench to sit on in the corner. Several pot lights and an extremely quiet exhaust fan complete the shower area. Returning to the main bath/dressing area, the 24" coffee colored tiles that were installed in the shower are are used on the floor in the part of the bath and are installed in a staggered box pattern. The wood moulding both base and crown are painted antique ivory. And last but not least, we had a #36"x8"x6" Chrystal chandelier that is called "The Wave" installed in the center of the room. The work is in the early stage at this point therefore photos would not show much. Possibly I can send some in a week or two. I am very satisfied, in fact I am quite happy with the entire team that is doing the work.. everyone wants to finish on time and on budget. Communication between the various trades is excellent and they all seem to co-operate with each other. Another nice thing about this crew is that they all seem to want me and my wife to participate and understand what they are doing. We can't wait until we can see it finished and use it.
