“Two years ago, my wife & I decided it was (past) time to replace the 20 yr old carpet in our home. We looked at various selections at a couple large flooring stores and also the two main big-box stores. Not really feeling confident in the quality of carpet and info we had rec'd from these locations, we contacted a friend who owns a flooring install company. He gave us a few names of sales folks he prefers to deal with to contact for comparison. The first person on his list was Donny at Choice Floors, who I called to arrange a visit. Donny was extremely pleasant on the phone and accommodating in his availability to meet. He showed up at our home on time, with a lot of questions on our desires, along with good info and samples to help us decide. Because of his positive personality and obvious experience, we felt very comfortable in working with Donny. Carpet was selected & ordered. He kept us informed during the delivery process, and thru install. All went very well. Now, two years later, I noticed suspected problems with the quality of the carpet. Not knowing what to do, I contacted Donny. As his job was successfully completed two years earlier, he could have told me to contact the manufacturer directly (which I should have done as the homeowner), but he didn't. Donny was truly concerned about this and went beyond his sales responsibility. He came out, inspected and agreed to contact the manufacturer with concerns on our behalf. An independent flooring inspector found a semi-unique defect in the carpet backing material that occurred during the manufacturing process. The manufacturer agreed to replace the carpet. As soon as the report summary came back, Donny jumped right on it by coming out to our home with new samples, helped us select, and quickly ordered the new carpet. Again he kept us informed on delivery status, and arranged the installers. New carpet was rec'd and installed in a timely manner. While the experience of getting new flooring in a lived-in home is always an inconveniencing & life disrupting event, Donny made ours quite abit easier by choosing to get involved and "greased the skids" using his experience and position as a distributor for this manufacturer. He stood behind the product he sold, and the integrity of Choice Floors. I highly recommend Donny and Choice Flooring.”
