“Once remediation had been completed following a recent tub overflow, we contacted the store (not West Michigan Carpet and Tile) from which we had purchased the carpeting in our house to replace damaged padding and re-install the carpet. After more than three weeks of runaround, we had still not gotten an installation date which, we had been told, would be at least six weeks later. A friend suggested that I contact Vince Marsilio, West Michigan Carpet and Tile's owner. We called him on Saturday afternoon. Monday, after his store closed, he came to our house and measured the needed padding. By 8:30 that night, we had received an email containing his estimate and were told that he had an installation crew available the following afternoon! Of course, we said "Yes!" and shortly before 11:00 AM the next morning, Ireneo and Maria arrived. Four hours later, this lovely couple had finished the re-installation and had done a beautiful job. That, my friends, is old-fashioned service! Oh, and Vince's bill was less than half what that other store had wanted to charge us. If you need flooring, West Michigan Carpet and Tile is your best choice for quality materials, attractive prices, and outstanding service. P.S. long prior to the tub-overflow event, I had purchased the materials to install ceramic floor tile in the bathroom where the tub overflow occurred but, thanks to skillful procrastination, I had not yet done the installation. Since the sheet laminate in the bathroom had been removed by the remediation folks, the installation of new flooring was necessary and I decided what better time to do so than now? However, every year I get older and I decided to hire someone to do the installation and asked Vince for a recommendation, which he graciously provided. About three weeks after speaking with Dave McCorkle, Vince's recommendation, Dave started work. It only took him three days to complete the installation. Dave is a soft-spoken perfectionist and I feel blessed that he was able to do our job. His price was quite reasonable and the quality of his work is outstanding. Vince has assembled an outstanding staff who will exceed your expectations.”
