“Let me begin with the end here. Our refinished hardwood floors look very good! Taking what they had to work with (extremely old painted-over pine wood), they did an incredible job and we are satisfied with the final product. Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues that we ran into during the process. Our biggest complaint is that our house was not treated with much respect by members of the Unique Flooring Solutions team. Our entire front sidewalk was covered with small carpet pieces for two weeks after the carpet was removed (And weren't swept up until I said something). One of our bathrooms (that wasn't being refinished) was left very dirty and the workers ruined a white bathmat by walking on it with dirty shoes. They had to pull out the dryer to use the outlet and didn't reinstall it, just leaving it completely pulled out. And beware of their "Dust Collection System." It doesn't work. We had dust on furniture three rooms away from where they were working. Thank goodness we put protective covering over our items on display. The communication was pretty good. But I had to initiate most of it. If there was an obvious issue, like holes that needed to be patched over, I was the one who had to start the conversation about possible solutions. I believe a lot of people work with Dzenan, but I worked primarily with Oliver and to his credit, he was always able and willing to talk. Even at late hours. And when an issue arose, he made sure it was addressed and corrected. When the workers accidentally got stain on our white paint, he made sure it was fixed. But again, I actually had to call him and let him know what had happened before a solution could be reached. Overall, our experience with UFS was decent. If you use them, make sure to check the work every day and report to them with any issues or corrections you want made. Again, we are very happy with the end result, but the process was somewhat of a hassle.”

“Dzenan and his team do an incredible job. When we first renovated our home, our general contractor used Unique Flooring Solutions to refinish the hardwood floors and install hardwood on the second floor. The whole house has a seamless look. Next we wanted to do a basement remodel, we opted to not use a general contractor and made a call to Unique Flooring Solutions to give us a bid. Not only was the price fair, but the timing and communication was fantastic. There is nothing more satisfying than having your phone call returned in less than 15 minutes. The installation of the luxury vinyl flooring was done with great care and looks fantastic. It's a rock solid 10/10. The basement remodel also included a bathroom remodel and the tile installation I would give a 9/10. The floors were perfect, but the tile surround ended up with one gap that had to be filled with caulk near the top. We only notice it because we are finicky about details. I would not hesitate to use Dzenan again. His team was courteous, professional, highly communicative and overall craftsmen.”
