“Tony is a floor artist. I wish we had found him first instead of our original flooring contractor. Our house was being remodeled in phases, and we hired Total Hardwood to do the last phase of our project, installing ~1400 sf of engineered wood over new and old subfloor, part of which wasn't level. When he came to give us an estimate, he knew exactly why the first install was already squeaking, and recommended a different underlayment that was cheaper than the one we had. Getting the floor level between the new and old areas took more time than he thought, but he stuck to his estimate and didn't charge us more. The floor came out amazing, you can't see any transitions and the boards are solid. We still have the original install in a master closet and the difference between that and the rest of the house is night and day. They had to do some challenging precise cuts in the kitchen around an island, which were super well done. They even paid attention to picking out which boards to use in different locations to create a final look, and custom cut some trim pieces for us instead of buying expensive transitions. I can't say enough good things about Total Hardwood, and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future. Their price was super competitive, so you may have to wait to get on their schedule but it was totally worth it. Thank you Tony for our beautiful floor!”

“Our floors were a mess! The subfloor was in poor condition with unevenness throughout. We thought we might have to replace the subfloor in some areas but Tony and his guys made it work. The floor is now even, quieter, sturdier and the engineered wood floor they installed looks great.”
