“We had our stairs going to the basement replaced. Robert Smith arrived promptly, was very polite and friendly! He got right to work, build us a set of beautiful stairs in a very professional manner. He cleaned up like you never even knew he was there! They were stained another day by another crew very efficiently and then Robert returned to replace the spindles. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the craftsmanship of the stairs and the whole experience! I will definitely use R & S flooring for any future projects!”

“I wanted to post this review of R&S Flooring, after reading the very few negative reviews here. It’s been a few years since R&S re-finished our floors during our home renovation, but our floors look as great today, as they did when they were first re-done. Mind you, the hardwood that is in this house, was installed a LONG time ago, and the color when we moved in, was a yellowish oak color. We chose to have the floors re-finished in black walnut, which is such a pretty color (although I would highly recommend anyone choosing this color, to chose more of a matte finish, so your floors don’t show every dust particle that lands on your floor). Dust showing, isn’t a fault of any floor installer; just the nature of the beast of the color chosen, and our living with a lot of lawn, and not right downtown, but more in the country. R&S was very easy for us to schedule, and they did the entire job, start to finish, in three days. Granted, our job may not have been as big as a 10,000 square. ft. home, but they did everything they said they would do, and more. In our hallway, there was a tiny area that had either some air bubbles, or perhaps the poly hadn’t settled just right (it may have been a little too chilly in the house, in that area, for the poly to set just right). However, when I called R&S to let them know, they came right back out, and NEVER COMPLAINED at all about re-doing that small area for us. In this day and age, when so many contractors, or project managers are pushing their people to get everything done as quickly and cheaply as possible, I’m so GLAD we chose R&S to do our hardwood floors! Even if there had been any setbacks, mistakes, or mishaps, these guys stood behind their work, and that means more to me, than having a project take a little longer. I realize some people may not have that same outlook, or timeline, but for us, we won’t hesitate to call R&S, should we EVER again need their services! I hope this will ease anyone’s fears about hiring R&S flooring. I thank them for being a company that ACTUALLY stands behind their work, and truly wants to please their clients! Thank’s R&S! 👍”
