While visiting my parents in Grass Valley, we stopped into Premier, and Dan took us all over the store until he found the perfect tile to match what I had envisioned in my head. “We recently used Premier Floor Covering and Tile Center to purchase our new LVP flooring, carpet, and tile. Everything was top notch, including the installation. Wayne did our estimate and was very good at explaining what would happen during installation and the installation preparation, as well as being a very nice person. Denise (LVP flooring & carpet) and Joyce (tile) were invaluable in helping us with choosing our materials. They were both very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful, and I am so appreciative.- loved working with both of them! Dan, the owner, was also very helpful, as was Lauren. Dan showed me a new LVP product they were just going to start carrying, and I ended up going with that product after Denise’s patience in helping me choose a pattern. Jim, who installed our LVP flooring, and Rodney, who installed our carpet, were both top notch. They were both very meticulous, friendly, kind, and such hard workers; they both did an excellent job. “I have just sent a 5 star review for your company on Yelp but the good news bears repeating ! We found your customer service from start to finish to be EXCELLENT. I greatly appreciated Denise’s design input and her prompt response on every aspect of this job. We put all new flooring—vinyl plank and carpet —into a 3 bedroom rental home and the result is beautiful.. Wayne did thorough work with his estimating, answering all our questions and making an extra trip to the site to be sure that “issues” did not become problems. The installation is beautiful and the men who did the work are professional people we were happy to have on our property. The final test of how good this company is came when we did have a minor snafu with the baseboard installation. Our complaint was immediately and very pleasantly addressed. We are 100% happy with Premier Flooring and will wholeheartedly recommend you to others.”

Estimator Wayne made two on site visits to be sure all our issues were addressed. The installers were very efficient and professional and gave us a beautiful job. “LOOK NO FURTHER. HIRE THIS FLOORING CONTRACTOR! A few days ago I posted a slightly critical review here on Yelp, and Dan, the owner of Premier Flooring, contacted me inside 2 hours. Dan is the rare Nevada County construction business owner and contractor who takes complete pride in his work and wants total customer satisfaction. Dan offered to pay for tree damage that one of his crewmembers accidentally caused on our driveway. He also apologized for other small problems we had with one of his flooring crews. Without question, this response from Dan is one of the stellar responses I have ever had from a local contractor. So Premier Flooring just made it onto the short list of service contractors that we would recommend unconditionally, along with James Nugent of Epic Builders, Volz Brothers (auto service), 49er Plumbing, All Phase HVAC, and Precision Electric. Special mention also for Gene Thompson, the real estate professional. That list, by the way, is pure gold. Took 30 years to find the master technicians in this county. Recently we completed a renovation of our master bedroom and guest bedroom areas. The flooring installers were outstanding. Dan Nelson and Glenn Belcher. Excellent customer care skills, excellent treatment of the homeowners. They moved their vehicles cheerfully when asked. They moved furniture exactly where we wanted it moved, and then moved it back cheerfully. They were super careful with their tools and were super careful not to track dirt indoors with their shoes. They didn't smoke on the property. They even cheerfully and willingly helped us move a few unrelated construction items that had nothing to do with their job. And of course they did a completely perfect installation on a solid flooring job and on a large, complicated and tricky carpeting job. If you've lived in Nevada County for awhile, you soon realize that getting a contractor to even call you back is often a miracle. But having a contractor that isn't moping and dragging his heels because he has to move his vehicle out of the way so you can get your car out of the garage, that's almost impossible to find in this area. It may sound like I am exaggerating, but I am not. I moved here in 1988, and I've owned several different houses, plus my parents and my sister own houses here. We are all excruciatingly familiar with the joys of finding a reliable, competent, and professional service person in this county. If you have any problem whatsoever with Premier, they will make it right so fast it will make your head spin. As far as I'm concerned, that's as good as it gets.”
