“As the owner of an interior design firm I have had the opportunity to work with many different trades over the years. I specialize in custom builds and remodels and am employed directly by the client, not by the builder, and this is important because it has exposed me to many different trades and I get to see their quality of work. Consistently, the level of work I witnessed from Legacy has been nothing but top-notch - this outfit is in the people-pleasing business and they will go to the ends of the earth to make you happy from start to finish! When we do custom finishes, we take the word custom very seriously... so does Legacy. However many stain samples it takes to get the right color wood finish for the floors because they realize this is a commitment and they play a huge role in the finished product for our client and boy does their commitment to excellence show! My clients are always ever so appreciative of the hard work and extra effort the team at Legacy provides! (please see finished photos below). Little surprise then, after witnessing the good and the bad of service providers out there, that I personally chose to partner with Legacy Floor Services in my own home! I chose to have my existing brazilian cherry floors removed and replaced with white oak, stain my red oak stair treads black and replace the carpeting in the secondary bedrooms... all while living in the house... not for the faint of heart. If I thought I was impressed with Legacy's handiwork on my job sites, I was even more impressed with them on a personal level. Regarding the carpeting job, several of my secondary bedroom are rounded bedrooms... this is not an easy job. I run a lot of remodels and unfortunately I've had walls/doors/baseboards dinged or gouged by installers and have seen seams in the oddest of places - obvious seams - just horrible jobs... I was really preparing for the worst - a rounded room spells trouble. But this job is absolutely FLAWLESS. Just flawless. They were in and out in a day for a job that was scheduled to take take 2 days. Oh my, these installers were just dreams. Talented to no end. I'm just so appreciative! (see photo below). Regarding the hardwood job, many people don't even want to entertain living through a sand and refinish job while living in the house let alone this sort of mayhem.... I guess I'm crazy. But it was worth it to get rid of these brazilian cherry floors that had been driving me crazy since day 1. I really wanted to do a herringbone design down a central breezeway and they absolutely nailed it. I wanted a specific color and they absolutely nailed it. My stair treads were red oak, not white oak and I didn't want to replace them so I just wanted to stain them a black and they nailed it (the painters will stain the rails black).... these guys just executed everything on time, on budget with a great attitude - you just cannot ask for more! (snapshots below - better pics will be posted on their website later). All in all, definitely worth the timeline to get from point A to point B - I just couldn't be happier! If you are looking for your partner - look NO FURTHER - this is your team. There are flashier outfits out there, but none more honest, none more talented, none more organized. If they don't have the sample you need, they'll get it. They will stop at nothing to make sure you are happy - end of story. This is your team. Acxel, Cheri & Shay and the whole Legacy Team... “Highly recommended! They were on time for every meeting and everyday they came to install! Me and my wife didnt have to lift a finger, they did it all from moving the furniture to putting it back where we had it! We tried to help moving furniture and pick up trash that was generated from the job, they insisted we stay out of the way! Because we were slowing them down. They left a clean work area when they were finished! They have a huge variety of flooring to choose from. It took my wife and I longer to go through there inventory then it took them to lay the floor lol They are hard fast workers and take pride in there work! They did everything as promised in the agreement of task of work! We are very happy with the quality of work and will share everywhere so other people can get great customer service like we received! Legacy floor services is reliable, respectful, local, clean orientated and stand by there work! Definitely will use again in the future!”

“We had Legacy Flooring refinish our 20 yr old Oak floors and also extend the hardwood into our bedroom. They came out great! After receiving quotes that would have required us to take down the spindles of our staircase, removed the racking in our panty plus other evasive work, Legacy came in and sanded/stained around everything, much of it done by hand. They came in less expensive than others, and were completely user friendly, they even moved the heavy furniture and rugs. We went with the water based poly and provincial stain that was a little more expensive, it looks beautiful and did not have the odor and longer curing time. We did have to do some touch up paint on the woodwork and the spindles, they did some but needed to be cleaned up a bit which we did ourselves, otherwise I would have given them a 5 stars. As long as you know that up front it is very well worth it and I would not hesitate recommending them.”
