“The installation was good. Not too happy with quality of carpet and padding. I forgot to tell salesperson that I wanted good quality padding, and they neglected to ask me what kind of padding I wanted. Hope to do better next time.”

“I grew up in Rye and my whole life for our large house was covered by Carpet Trends. I bought a moderate house when I married and Carpet trends did it all. We renovated a new large house 20 years ago and carpet trends covered that home too. I redid a set of stairs with them two years ago during Covid. I went in to find a new wall to wall for my large master and fell in love with an extremely expensive lush carpet. My husband asked me to get a second opinion. I had all the info so I got an online quote from Kanter’s. Brian immediately responded. Answered questions as they arose. He also gently followed up from time to time without being the least bit intrusive. I went back to carpet trends to ask them to offer a decorator disc. at the very least. They countered but not close enough. Then we went back and forth. Ultimately, they dropped a bit again but at the end, even knowing the price I wanted them to match, gave a final offer of $1000 more than Kanter’s. I will never shop there again and cannot extol enough praise on Brian and his delightful team. Brian also then helped me in a pinch when I wanted to redo my other stairs. If he could do it in 2 1/2 weeks, I'd have it done by a big family memorial service...I went to his showroom to see what was in. He was not there, but I was expected and got amazing service with expertise that explained why many of my choices, while attractive would not withstand my traffic level of my front hall or why the look was not a good entry way choice....no designer disct. needed. I chose an in stock carpet, installed within the week! My experience with his back office staff was equally satisfying!”
