“My wife and I recently realized that our floor of 20 years was in desperate need of replacement. Of course we visited the usual box stores and were pointed in the direction of flooring. Of course we were left to ourselves to determine our needs. After a few of these frustrating visits without any assistance we started to look at other options. My wife remembered a place that had given her great advice and service over a decade ago. (Not sure why we did not start there to begin with). We stopped by unannounced and were welcomed by Al at his store with a pleasant smile. He took the time to explain in detail all of the different options and the circumstances that made each one great and not so great fit for our application. His 1st question was what is your style and not the typical what is your budget one. He educated us so that we understood all of our options and really simplified a challenging (for us) decision of what product to use and color choices may work well. No pressure, no sales jargon just real consideration for our satisfaction with our home's flooring. Of course being a professional amateur do it yourselfer we decided to do some of the demo ourselves. A slate floor. BTW don't try this at home. Pay The demo! The deal was struck, the flooring was ordered and a date of installation was agreed to. I received confirmation calls to ensure that we were ready for the install.i even called after hours the night before because I was concerened that irunning out of time on the slate floor and would have to reschedule. Al assured me that whatever the challenge was they would overcome it and work it out later. Crew arrived on time and went to work without delay. Did a great job was very professional and took great care of our home while they worked. What can I say our experience was outstanding. At every moment we were treated kindly, fairly, with class and respect. I am glad my wife remembered the place that gave her great advice and service over a decade ago. So glad they are still providing this type of service. BTW we Love the new floor! Awesome job and thank you to all involved! Jonce”
