“Andy's immediate availability to come and quote the project was great, and they were able to do the work right away, that week, and was totally needed for our timing for a tight move-in. The communication was a little shoddy thereafter, so took a few more texts and calls than I would have liked, to learn from the 2-man crew what the timing was each day of work, etc. But all in all they did good work, quickly and pretty well. There were some spots that they would have missed had I not pointed them out (they missed them with stain on that day) but they cleaned well and got into some very tricky staircase railing tread spots better than I expected. “Andy and his team were terrific to work with! My wife and I recently bought a house in Fairfield, which was almost 100 years old. As a new homeowner, I had no idea how to go about restoring the wood floors, so hit up All Hardwood Floors to come give us an estimate. Andy came to my house at a time I told him would be convenient for me, and talked my wife and I through the whole process. He was totally upfront about what he would recommend we do, and was honest about what we should spend money on. For instance, the floors upstairs were pretty good as-is, and Andy didn't add any pressure for us to redo those. So, you could tell he sincerely wanted to make the house look better, and not try to push any extra services. He gave us a great breakdown on pricing, and was excellent at communicating throughout the process. We were actually not moved into the house yet, so hid a key for Andy's team member to come let himself in, and do the work. Andy kept us posted on everything, and even texted us photos of how everything was coming together. Overall, the experience was terrific. The floors were beautifully sanded / stained, and I'm so happy we did this. There's another room of our house we're going to be adding some hardwood flooring, and I'm looking forward to working with Andy to do these as well.
