“I am not one who writes testimonials but in this case I'm making an exception for very good reasons. In the fall of 2019, I hired Ultra Floors to do a complete gutting and remodel of my kitchen and install new flooring in my family room and dining room. I was very satisfied with the job they did, but now 3 years later, I have come to fully appreciate how well Ultra Floors performs their work. My wife and I are currently dealing with managing long distance, damage from last fall's hurricane to my 86 year old mother-in-laws home in Florida, and it has been a nightmare. We could not find a general contractor to take on the entire job. We had to search for individual contractors for each area of damage: roof, gutters, lanai cage, pool, a/c, electrical, plumbing, interior and water mitigation. Contractors don't show up as scheduled, email & voicemail responses are delayed for days, or not returned at all. Some contractors commit to the job and then back out. It's now been over 6 months and the only completed work is the water mitigation. Currently we have finally been placed on hired contractor's work schedules, but they can't start work for 2-3 months due to work backlogs. Ultra Floors owners, Frank, Sean, & Nicole Jones didn't make any promise they couldn't keep, and they kept every promise they made. There never was any surprises with their competitive pricing. Megan in accounting was very helpful and always available. The managing job supervisor, Fred Beaufait was great. Workers showed up on time and were courteous and respectful. Every major job like this can have unforseen issues, and this is where Fred excelled. My issues were handled quickly and efficiently. Our beautiful new kitchen and flooring is a showpiece of how great it was working with Ultra Floors. Since the job was completed, not one thing has gone wrong with the materials or workmanship.
