Our experience started off wonderfully, but that joy didn't last. We got a recommendation from someone in our community to stop by The Carpet Store for a flooring project we were planning. We met with Jim, who was super nice and informative. he let us take home a ton of samples and was quick to answer questions. We scheduled a measurement and came back for a quote. The price was lower than anyone else we had talked to. In fact, we decided to do carpet and vinyl throughout the upstairs. In fact, I was planning on doing the vinyl myself, but they offered such a great price that I just had them do it. We paid a deposit and got things moving. Vinyl went in first. The team worked very hard and communicated with me very well. Carpet was ready right after the vinyl went in. Overall, we're pretty happy with how everything looks. While I would love to say that the entire experience was fantastic, things kind of went downhill after I made my final payment. When Andreas came to measure, we talked about the project and he told me that they typically leave a couple boxes of materials behind. This is pretty standard in my experience. When the team finished, there was only a single piece of vinyl leftover. They told me to contact the store. I messaged on May 19th asking about the additional materials. Not long after, I spoke to Jim on the phone to make our final payment for the carpet. I asked about the extra materials. He told me that they didn't have enough to finish the job, so they didn't charge me for the extra. I can't speak on that, as they did all of the measuring and ordering. He told me that since I was promised extra materials, he would round up a couple of boxes and give me a call. On July 7th, after not hearing anything for over a month, I checked in. It was then a lot of back and forth. Jim said that there should have been extra materials in the extra boxes they needed. His notes said there should have been 2 boxes left. I assured him that there was only a single piece remaining from the job. To help move things along, I offered a compromise to where I would buy a couple of boxes and they could throw in the boxes that they promised me. I was told that the boss, Ethan, would need to sign off on any free materials. I wasn't asking for free materials, just what was promised by two different people. It's not July 19th, and I still don't know what's going on. I was told that notes were left on the bosses desk, and now the salesman I worked with is out sick. Are a couple of boxes of materials that big of a deal? No. not really. I would like to buy some anyway to redo a couple of areas. I think I'm mostly disappointed in how quickly the service changed. I may be old fashioned, but I still believe that a person's word should mean something. If it doesn't, what does that mean if there is an actual issue down the line? This could all be a big misunderstanding (and there are certainly quite a few communication errors along the way), but it certainly doesn't feel like we're on the radar anymore now that we paid. Sadly, the plan was to have the team come back out and do the downstairs once we saved up a little bit. The prices are great, the team works well, and the sales process is pretty good; I can't say the same for the followup. If you're considering working with The Carpet Store, you'll mos likely be happy with the results.

Kelly is my new BFF. From start to finish this store rocks! They really know what they are doing. Mike and Dave came out and the installation was quick, easy, professional & Looks great. I’ve had other floors put in but this was the best install.

Our floors turned out great and they were able to get the product we needed in reasonable time and get the job done within the time window we needed to move in. Jose was great, patient, & helpful in the sales process and helped explain all of our options and helped us with pricing where he could. He also helped us find the best option for how we wanted the stairs to look

The Carpet Store and our salesperson, Scott, are top notch. We have been going to him for 15 yrs for all kinds of products. He has always steered us right and helped us comply with Home Owner Association requirements, keeping within our budget, and paying attention to coordinating the decor. We will be back.
