“While the flooring is lovely, we have had a lot of issues. Originally it was laid as a floating floor but has buckled over and over. The original installer said he’d come out and fix and he did come out but the repair didn’t last more than a week. I called the company after we could no longer get the original installer out or to return our calls. I have called and they sent an installer out to look at it and it was decided it needed to be glued down. Now I feel as if the company is giving me the run around about scheduling this repair. We bought the flooring and paid in full for the flooring in good faith. Feeling frustrated. It’s hard to “support local shops” when they don’t super ya back. Hoping this gets resolved.”

“My husband and I have gotten counters, flooring and carpet from Strait Floors Port Townsend and are super happy with all of three! Excellent customer service (shout out o manager Eric Gordon especially!), friendly team in general, quick time project turnaround, high quality material, and reasonable pricing for the quality of product (we went with a middle of the road option for all 3 projects). I love too that the products from Mohawk we picked are sustainable and environment-conscious. The contractors for the counter and carpet (shout out to awesome work by Derek Stekly!) both did a really lovely job! If you want local, high-quality work, environment-friendly, and great service- choose Strait Floors!”
