Elfman's recently completed a pretty big project for us - replacing all our wood floors, refinishing stairs, installing a stair runner, replacing carpet, tiling a bathroom and a fireplace - it was a lot. Everything was done beautifully! From product selection to installation, the team was wonderful to work with. Peter was our point person, answered all our questions, kept us up to date on scheduling and ensured the job was done right. The crews that did the installation were polite, punctual and easy to work with. I sort of miss having them around! I love our new floors and I love that we go to work with such a quality team throughout the whole process.”

“A good Samaritan in Brighton heard what I wanted (a 9X12 bound carpet remnant) and sent me to Paul at Mal Elfman's in Waltham. I will be forever grateful for that referral. I arrived at Elfman's at 4:05 pm on a Saturday. I didn't realize they closed at 4:00 pm. I put my face up to the big plate-glass window and looked in, trying to find the hours of operation. I saw a man walk towards the door -- Paul. "Can I help you?" he asked. "Yes! I was referred to you," I said. "We're closed but will open up on Monday," Paul told me. "Ok," I said and began to walk away. Not able to contain his good nature, Paul threw the door open and said, "Why don't you come on in!" I did. Within five minutes, I had found exactly the rug I wanted. Paul sold it to me, arranged delivery and I was in my car again at 4:30 PM. The quality, bound carpet is now in my home in Brookline and I love it. Thank you Elfman's and Thank you Paul! (The delivery guys were also the best in the business: careful, efficient, friendly.)”
