“With a bit of planning and a great team from Southern Maryland Kitchen and Bath, we are enjoying an incredible master bathroom with a spa-like feel! A tremendous “thank you” to Anthony and his team for working closely with us last year (2019) to build the bath of our dreams. From the plan design with Gary, through project scheduling with Daryl and the construction crew, we felt part of a team that was genuinely interested in making the project come out exactly as we had envisioned. It was quite evident that the daily crew - carpenters, tile, plumbing, electrical, etc. - wanted to do and were proud of doing quality work. The whole team was considerate of us as homeowners as well as clients, making sure to minimize the inevitable dust and such that comes from completely gutting and rebuilding a bathroom, and took the time to prevent any side-effects – I came home one day to a plate having been taken off the wall prior to some carpentry work, so that it didn’t fall off and break on its own. Project ownership – that’s what Anthony and his complete team demonstrated throughout the construction. No, it’s not easy - there are people coming and going, you’ve had to move belongings to another room – but that can’t be helped, and Southern Maryland Kitchen and Bath did everything they could to reduce construction stress, all the way to making sure carpets and wood floors were covered and cleaning up construction debris at the end of each day. Combined with detailed construction cost and scheduling reviewed up front and during the project, real-time daily progress reporting through a construction app that the team, Anthony, and we all had access to, and an open communication channel between us and the management team, we can only say that we are completely satisfied with the outcome and would not hesitate to contact anyone at Southern Maryland Kitchen and Bath if we have another construction fancy in the future!”
