“We contacted JT Flooring through their website to request a quote. The owner, Jared, quickly replied and set up a date for the quote. Jared arrived exactly on time, and gave an extremely reasonable quote on refinishing our hickory hardwood floors that were roughly 20 years old and had more than a few rough patches. One of our main concerns was our 150 gallon saltwater reef aquarium that has been up and running for over 10 years. Jared was the only person we asked to come in and bid the job who seemed to care about it, and genuinely seemed concerned. He immediately said that they would use all water based stains and sealers, as well as mask off the area with plastic. The aquarium survived 100% and I fully believe it was the extra precautions they took. The feeling I got from the other two companies that provided us with bids was that they could care less about a stupid fish tank. Jared immediately realized that this was important to us, and provided expert advice and action. We couldn’t be happier with how the floors turned out, they look brand new! Every scratch and gouge I put in the floor (Christmas tree of 2014) has been magically erased and sanded away into the abyss.
