“The Hammond family and staff worked great together to get the job done when refinishing our hardwood floors. They were redoing a refinishing job completed a couple of months before by someone else. As you might imagine, it was painful for us to pay all that money to the previous refinisher for a shoddy job. But Mr. Hammond checked out our floors and quickly figured out exactly what our specific floors needed. The bottom line is that we are super pleased with what Hammond's company did, technically. Our floors (LOTS of wood flooring throughout our house) look stellar now and alive. They "pop" with blonde colors interspersed with other colors that were previously drab, gray and lifeless. Great craftsmanship as well. Also, they called each morning when the crew came out to tell us exactly when they'd arrive, which is unusual for contractors in my experience. I highly recommend their top-notch wood floor refinishing, attention to detail, and customer service/communication.”

“From my first contact with Robby Hammond and the good folks at Hammond's I was impressed with the expert and thorough work on my home renovation. My new to me 1953 home had a bad combination of original hardwood which had been covered with years of pet stained carpet in the living room and laminate over vinyl in the dining room and kitchen. The job was to demo the old, match existing hardwood with new, make sure the new was acclimated to the proper humidity point before installation, puzzle out the beautiful pattern in the grain, and then sand stain and seal my new floor. This is not a short process, but it was worth the wait, the work, and the price. I highly recommend this company and the people who stand behind their work.”

“Honest and professional locally owned company. The owner gets directly involved and stays connected with your project and the entire team takes pride in high quality craftsmanship. They checked everything from ensuring the subfloor was set so the floors wouldn’t squeak to offering professional advise for optimal outcome. Our project had many setbacks that were uncontrollable, but Hammonds communicated every step of the way and walked us through details. Our floors were worth the long wait! More expensive than other bids, however I believe the final product could not have been matched by anyone else and will significantly increase the value of our home. Highly recommend this company!”

He explained how our floors are too thin to be sanded down and showed us what would happen if they were to resurface them.
