“Skip all the big box stores and come to Great American Floors for your new flooring. I’m a Type A researcher who went to at least five stores to inquire about new floors because I want to spend my money wisely. Great American Floors had the best and largest selection, most knowledgeable employees, upfront pricing on everything (no hidden installation fees), and there’s no sub-contracting out of the jobs like at big box stores where you can’t get straight answers. With big box stores, you’ll wait at least 4-6 weeks for service. Great American Floors can install usually within 2 weeks. Michelle, the sales associate, helped me every step of the way in considering my needs for new carpet and was gracious in engaging my kids so I could look at the products. Dominick, who came out to measure, was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable about different types of flooring. He even brought samples from the store so I could see them in my own home. I may have spent a little more money at Great American Floors than another retailer (most of which couldn’t give me final costs with moving furniture around) in the end, but it is totally worth it. It was such an easy process with them from start to finish. I was treated very well as a customer where my time is valued. The installation went well, and the carpet looks wonderful. Best of all, if any problems arise in the future, I know I can call them and they will fix it right away.”

“Great American Floors left us satisfied and smiling once again. Two years ago they installed beautiful Dreamweaver Montauk carpet in our den. This January they transformed our large kitchen floor with LVP. It looks just like hardwood. Rachel was a delight to work with, guiding us to our choices in their showroom. The installers completed the job in one day. It was nice to hear their amicable chit-chat throughout the day. And why not? Come to find out they were father and son-in-law! “Great American Floors was an amazing experience for me from the moment I walked in the front door. I took so many samples home, and when Rachel came to measure she was able to help me make my final decision with expertise on her knowledge of carpet, style, and color. Of all things that are taking forever to supply, carpet is not one of them. I wanted to get my carpet installed before Christmas 2021. It took less than 2 weeks from ordering to installation. There was almost a hold up the day before install because of broken down ban, but Rachel handled it and the installation went forward without a bump. The crew was amazing. They showed up on time and worked way beyond dark to complete the install. Very professional. It was seamless…literally. No seams to be found in my carpet!!! I highly recommend this local company!!!”

“Our hardwood floor refinish looks wonderful and they were great to work with! Update: Unfortunately I'm going to have to drop my 5 star rating to a 3 based off our recent experience with them. After such a positive experience the first time, we chose them to replace our basement floors after a flood. After waiting two months for our flooring to come in (understandable with production delays), the job could not be completed because they didn't measure or order correctly and ran out of flooring. This obviously set back the entire renovation process as we've had to wait an additional month and a half for the additional flooring to come in. Then, they repeatedly tell us they're coming at a certain time and just don't show up or let us know that time has changed. They say they'll deliver the floors at a certain time because they need acclimated (they also said they needed acclimated with the initial delivery), but then after they just don't show up to deliver them it's because they actually don't need acclimated. Then they say they'll be here to install them during a certain window, but just don't show up or call during that window of time. This is after I've repeatedly arranged my day around being home during the given window. It's clear they think their time is more valuable than mine. Due to all this, I can no longer recommend this company as I have in the past.”
