The roots of this business go back to the opening of Bauh's Carpets in Wilmington in 1973. The owner, Bob Bernard, purchased the company in 1990 and then acquired Boulevard Carpets in 2004. Hence the name B&B Carpets. Both businesses specialized in flooring for property management companies, and B&B continued with that business model. Although that is their primary focus, B&B still provides the same excellent quality and service for homeowners and commercial property owners. When he came to California in the early '80s, he installed in San Diego County and quickly became a supervisor, largely due to an eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Because of this, he demands high standards from as many as eight crews he dispatches five days a week.
